Refund Policy
At Rising Chess Master, we strive to provide the best possible experience for our students and parents. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Our refund policy outlines the conditions under which refunds will or will not be provided for our chess programs. Please review the details carefully before enrolling.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances:
-
Program Cancellation by Rising Chess Master:
If we must cancel a session or program due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor unavailability or low enrollment), a full refund will be provided for the canceled session. -
Personal Reasons:
If unexpected personal circumstances arise, a refund will be issued if a request is received at least 3 days prior to the start of the sessions. -
Special Circumstances:
Any other refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Rising Chess Master. Please note that these cases are rare, and decisions will be made based on individual merit and program policies.
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided under the following circumstances:
-
Failure to Meet Age Requirements:
If it is discovered that your child does not meet the age requirements for the group session (under 6 or over 12), we reserve the right to remove them from the program. In such cases, no refund will be issued, as the spot taken could not be offered to another participant. -
Behavioral Issues:
If a student is removed from the program due to inappropriate behavior or failure to adhere to the program’s code of conduct, no refund will be provided. -
After sessions begin:
Refunds will not be issued once the first session has started.
3. Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
-
Submission of Request:
Submit your refund request in writing via email to info@risingchessmaster.com at least 3 days prior to the first session starting. -
Review Process:
Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 14 business days of submission. You will be notified via email of the decision.
4. Processing Refunds
-
Approved Refunds:
If your refund is approved, it will be issued via the original payment method. Please allow up to 7-10 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account due to different card issuer policies. -
Partial Refunds:
If a refund is prorated or only part of the payment is eligible for a refund, the exact amount and breakdown will be included in the refund notification.
